It’s not even a Tesla, I think it’s a Nio ET5. Still, “Teslička” is an affectionate term meaning basically “dear little Tesla” and the company rents out EVs for events.
The car is not even a Tesla, but the guy goes out of his way to ensure everyone knows he’s a fan… Why would you even do that? To show that you like some corporation, or to show off that you like nazi stuff? At this point it’s mostly sad.
Teslička.cz is a Tesla-first EVs-for-hire company. In Czechia, it’s easy to get a custom licence plate transferred between cars one owns (but not between people). I think the company just gets it put on the newest car they have available, which now happenns to be a Nio. (They might be doing this swapping with two plates, I saw a
TESL1CKAin their promo photos.)Damage to the car would be covered by insurance or the rental contract. To hurt both the hirer and the company a lot, one could steal the plates. The hirer would need a tow and the company CZK 10000 for another set, and could not get them reissued.
TE5LICKAandEL0NCLU8are available but not the same, and they will run out of letter substitutions if it happens repeatedly (7E5L1CKAand3L0NCLU8are already stretching it). Anyway, beware of cameras in the car and the streets, and make sure the plates are not recovered in time. Throwing them into the sewage is not a good strategy, for example.
