      Westworld. HBO made a series based on the 70s movie and it was amazing. Had a really strong cast too, but then Discovery went on their hatchet spree and killed it.

        i felt like it fell in quality pretty heavily once it got past like 75% of s2. were people still watching it?

          I definitely was and it only got better imo. It felt like people got too invested in the “western in the park fantasy” part when really it was telling a larger story between the struggles of man, machine and the meaning of sentience on a global scale.

            i did find the struggle between man, machine and the meaning of sentience to be more engaging against the backdrop of western in the park.

          The decline in quality has nothing to do with HBO. The fan subreddit had guessed the twist of season one long before it was revealed.

          And it genuinely feels like during the second season, the showrunners were more focused on outsmarting the fans than writing a coherent and properly paced story.
