Personally, Return of the Living Dead (1985). I’ve seen it so many times and it never gets old. One of my comfort movies for sure I even got the chance to see it in theater during a retro night a bit back. Was awesome.

    So hard to decide, the 80s are my favorite era for horror films. Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Shining, Evil Dead, just to name a few. But I guess my favorite might be The Thing, because Alien ist from '79.
