I would just like anyone who reads this to start being more aware of WHO you are interacting with on Lemmy and be more mindful of the scum around here that have popped up more and more as reddit migrants come in.       Use a client that allows you to make tags. Not that difficult to immediately label the shitty people like Zionists, Racists, Transphobes, etc.

            Are there nuances to the word Zionist? I don’t know enough about the culture in the Levant. If you call someone that, you’re assuming other people know what you’re talking about. I strongly suggest you stay away from labels, but call out what they’re actually doing.

        The problem is, nobody else can see the tags you apply to a user. So to everyone else, it just looks like you’re calling someone a Zionist out of the blue if they’re not already familiar with that user’s history.
