Myanmar Catholics ethic descendants of Portuguese immigrants targeted by military Junta
After committing a coup to gain power, the new Myanmar government is extremely conservative. They are committing open genocide, killing people on sight based on nothing more than ethnic appearance.
This is a normal win condition for conservatism. Watch their genocide and see the similarities to conservative leadership in the west. Note how the conservative supporters of the new government are just regular folks who say the government is doing a good job and that the victims are just over-reacting.
This is conservatism, plain and simple. It is a plague of death.
This was self-inflicted by the Myanmar’s Buddhist majority. They enthusiastically backed the military’s genocide against the ethnic muslim Rohingya. Once the Rohingya were subjugated, the military got drunk on power and moved on to their next target: the progressives. Even Aung San was quiet about the Rohingya genocide.
