To the entitled, equality feels like oppression. Affirmative action leveled the playing field for those who were victims of generational system oppression.
With the current Ames SCOTUS case, I think we’re heading for a “fairness over equity” court system. Life is about to get a lot scarier for minority and (previously) protected classes.
Nonono don’t you see? As the benefactor of oppression, you would be oppressing me by mitigating those privileges. Two wrongs don’t make a right so we now need to accept that the damage is done and just accept the world where white cis het men just have more safety, status and options.
