minus-squarefelixwhynot@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·4 hours agoGuessing that his game of choice didn’t work on Steam OS That said I wonder about the frame rate—this game is notoriously demanding/heavy AFAIK
minus-squareTwinklebreeze @lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·2 hours agoHe should choose better games then.
minus-squareB312@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·edit-22 hours agoIt’s probably because he’s playing tarkov idk
minus-squareendeavor@sopuli.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down1·3 hours agoTarkov runs on linux tho.
minus-squareB312@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·2 hours agoAh I assumed it was one of those multiplayer games that had an anti cheat which made the game not work on Linux.
minus-squareendeavor@sopuli.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 hour agoOh you are right. But the multiplayer anti cheat does not work at all and theres a opensource single player version that is better in every single way
minus-squareStitchIsABitch@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up101·11 hours agoThe kind of idiot that boasts about “system tweaks” and “audiophile headphones”.

minus-squareEstebiu@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up8·9 hours agotbh the decks dac is surprisingly good- at least with my planar IEMs
minus-squarejacksilver@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up17arrow-down1·11 hours agoI did install windows on a microsd to play some online games with my steamdeck. It’s a so-so experience, but at least means you can literally play anything on the steamdeck.
minus-squareWhiteBurrito@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1arrow-down3·8 hours agoJust get an ROG Ally at that point
minus-squarejacksilver@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up10·8 hours agoSteamOS is still the main OS. I’ve just got a microsd for dual booting. I feel like a ROG Ally would be a downgrade at that point.
minus-squareWhiteBurrito@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1arrow-down1·8 hours agoDual boot Bazzite and windows(?)

But at what cost!
