Y’all know, but just to be clear…

Zelenskyy stated in November 2024 that $76 billion of the $177 billion in U.S. military aid approved for Ukraine had been received, highlighting delays but not “missing” funds . [1] [2] Ukrainian officials have emphasized transparency, with the embassy noting that U.S. aid is allocated to specific sectors (security, humanitarian, economic) and subject to oversight . Trump’s criticism also ignores that European aid surpasses U.S. totals when including multi-year commitments .

A February 2025 poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology found 57% of Ukrainians trust Zelenskyy, obviously contradicting Trump’s “4%” claim . [3] [4]

If it wasnt for Zelenskyy and other brave Ukrainians, ukraine would have fallen years ago.

But sure, its their fault for prolonging the war… why is Mr. Bone spurs even allowed to talk about one nation’s right to defend themselves.

Why is he quoting his name?

Because his English skills are poor and he wants to emote it as something he’s emphasizing, in a speech, in his signature crazy-old-man fashion.

He’s using quotation marks for emphasis I think. It’s not uncommon of his generation in my experience.

I think it’s a holdover from using typewriters, which didn’t really have bold or italic options. You could underline, but it meant going back and typing underscores. Much easier to just add quotes as you type.

Why he feels the need to all-caps emphasize his name is beyond me.

Huh, I don’t think I’ve ever before considered the original purpose of underscores. (I’ve used typewriters but not much and not for a long time.) Thanks!

Not only has he stabbed Ukraine in the back, but he also stabs us in the eyes continuously with his lack of writing skills.

I genuinely think he’s not referring to himself per se but the sort of radical, idealized leader that he’s promoted into the heads of his followers. Trump is a man, and all men have flaws, but “TRUMP” is an idea and faith in ideas need not include flaws.

He just makes up his own reality in his head as he goes, it’s truly scary stuff. It can be funny when it’s your grandpa in a care home, but this is the sitting president who has lost his mind.

Anyone care to speculate why he capitalises nouns? It is common in some languages like German, but how come he does it in English? Does anyone know if he writes these longer texts himself?

a while back on reddit someone said this was a very fascist/nazi thing to do its designed to stoke anger and rage. you see how he sometimes put a whole word in capital, like with the judge in NYC, he put her whole names capital and called her “PEEKABOO LETICIA JAMES.”
