During negotiations with the DNC and the Harris campaign, we were repeatedly told by interlocutors that Harris couldn’t meet any of our basic requests (a policy shift from Biden, a Palestinian speaker at the DNC, a statement distinguishing herself from Trump on Israel, or even a meeting with Michigan families who lost loved ones to Israeli bombs) because of AIPAC-aligned politicians like Fetterman, who might take to TV, rile up suburban white and Jewish voters, and fracture the party’s coalition in a swing state.

That political calculus alienated a key voting bloc, although likely not large enough to have shifted the ultimate election outcomes, that should be part of a durable Democratic majority. But few will ever be held accountable for that choice.

A Fetterman staffer condemning Uncommitted for not advocating for Palestinians ‘the right way’ is like an arsonist scolding the fire department for using the wrong hose.

Watch for it because they’ll probably do it again: A conflict that America is only peripherally responsible for and cannot stop, being pushed as the number one issue in the next elections.

I’m glad you genocide denying dogs lost, seriously. You say propaganda works on everyone but you and then start parroting the last disgusting bullshit propaganda to defend the Democrats actively committing a genocide that they could have stopped at any moment.

You vote down ticket for democrats and push those people to support your issue.

People tried to push them, they ignored it, under the reasoning that they’d vote for them anyway.

I refuse to sit out or actively support fascism

Then you should probably stop repeating genocide denial to defend people allied when ethnofascists.

        Worse genocide by far

The fuck are you talking about? Israeli occupation forces are withdrawing, aid is flowing into the Strip, and the daily bombardment has stopped. Yeah, Trump keeps saying stupid and horrible shit, but the US occupying Gaza is about as likely as annexing Greenland.

Has the bombing really stopped? I’m legit asking because the news i read doesn’t say that.

Trump just gave them 8 billion more in arms deals. The peace agreement was violated immediately. I still see reports of IDF killing random people.

But without knowing someone from there its hard to know what is real. All news sources are biased one way or the other.

The genocide hasn’t stopped, but the genocide didn’t start on Oct 7th either.

But things are far better than they were before. Instead of constant bombardment, there are scattered incidents of violence. Israel continues to commit war crimes using US made weapons, continues to inflict violence in the West Bank and Syria and Lebanon as well as Gaza, and Trump is happy to facilitate the violence. This isn’t peace, but the ceasefire is saving lives.

Oh, so by your own admittion you had no idea what the facts on the ground were, but you went ahead and declared that it was “worse by far” based purely on the fact that it’s now someone you don’t like doing it.

You’re strawmanning so hard. “The news I read doesn’t say that.” Is the context you’re missing.

Of course I’m not an expert and neither are you. What’s your credentials? You’re a war reporter currently in Gaza internet trolling rather than writing an article? Of course not.

Get the fuck outta here with your holier than thou shit. You’re so sure that I’m wrong and that Trump is somehow helping stop a genocide? When he called for America to take over the Gaza strip and remove all Palestinians? You really think Harris would have done that?

It doesn’t matter if he’s an idiot and everyone knows he won’t do it… Unless he does. He’s still escalating the crisis.

What are your plans for the next election? If both democrats and republicans are equally bad then who will you try to elect instead? You only have 4 years to plan this out and come up with a viable candidate, so if you’re not yet working on this I urge you to figure it out.

Oh here we go. You started by confidently declaring that the genocide is “much worse” under Trump (not just worse, much worse), then as soon as it’s rightly pointed out that that’s complete bullshit, you retreat like an absolute coward into “well how can we know anything for sure maaaaaan!” sophistry.

Hey dipshit, if you have to be a war reporter in Gaza to know what’s going on in Gaza, then what is the point of having war reporters?

Turns out it is actually possible to know what is happening in Gaza; the fact that you have refused to do so because it conflicted with your sports team politics doesn’t change that.

Since the ceasefire, the number of bombings has plummeted, that is an objective fact. Since the ceasefire, the number of aid trucks getting has skyrocketed, that is an object fact. Since the ceasefire, tens of thousands of Palestinians have re-entered Northern Gaza, which was ethnically cleansed under the Biden administration, that is an objective fact.

The fact that you only care about what Trump says rather than what is actually happening to the people in Gaza makes it damn clear that, like most BlueMAGA fanatics, it’s just a fictional place that only exists as a plot line in your entertainmentized election cycle.

What are your plans for the next election?

I’m not American, dipshit. I know that might be hard for you to believe, till now you didn’t realize that foreigners actually existed as real people. I don’t get to have a plan in your election, I just get to have my family members killed by the people you elect, and then have to listen to you fascist ghouls lie about it. What’s your fucking plan for the next election?

You really think Harris would have done that?

                🤦

the biden administration was literally arguing against a 2 state solution at the un and breaking its own rules to arm a genocide; their goal and trump’s goal are one in the same, they only differ in execution.

Look where we are now. Worse genocide by far

Just because you’ve stopped denying the genocide now that Trump is in, doesn’t mean it’s “worse by far”. Fuck, people like you deserve Trump.
