      While I don’t want to downplay the impact layoffs will have on the region, there are 30k total employees bracing for the impact of layoffs. The headline makes it seem like there will be 30k layoffs which shouldn’t be the case.

        There will be far more than just 30,000 people losing their livlihood over this. Millions of dollars in federal contracts that are paid out locally will dry up.

        This is going to kill entire economies.

          Agreed. This aggressive if not hostile action will certainly harm smaller, local economies across the country.

          However the way the headline is written makes it seem like 30k jobs in KC are going away which isn’t the case.
