This might be either a difference in language or culture then. 🤔 In german it would not just be very rude to call someone paranoid, it’s also definitely rhetorically linked to a state of mental illness (basically telling them they’re fucked in the head / crazy). At least where I’m coming from.
ah yeah that makes sense :) certainly a regional/language thing. from my perspective, the word more just means an emotional state in the same way anxiety is an emotional state. disordered behavior or insult is not implied unless it’s explicit.
