    Notice how they’re all “states rights” until the state wants to be more progressive than them. Then states rights go out the window.

      Ending subsidies is Musk’s idea. He got billions of tax subsidies to get Tesla started. Now that Tesla is established from those subsidies he wants them cut off so no Tesla competitors can get off the ground.

        Pretty much. He has an established brand. People proved they will buy anything with a Tesla badge on it when he released the cyber truck. He needs to prevent others from taking the market.

        Are a lot of people still buying teslas? The maga crowd doesn’t seem to like EVs that much, and anyone else might consider other brands more now that elon has joined them.

          It’s the only brand of EV with falling sales right now. Still selling a fair number; a lot of people either don’t know just how Nazi Musk is, or how bad they are compared with other EVs, or don’t care.

      It’s wild that you’re right given that most of the new EV and battery factories are in red states. Just shooting themselves in the foot as usual.
