I haven’t really played a lot since season 12 with a break from season 7, so the dynamics have obviously shifted from the OG days but good gravy is ranked ever thirsty these days.
Have so many hours and so much enjoyment with friends on this game, but I have to agree with this sentiment and unfortunately I’m at the point where I’ve finally had to give up on Apex. Life changes and no longer having near as much time to devote to the game only further exacerbate the issue.
I admire those who can hang with these players, but at some point I just gotta bow out because that’s not me and getting stomped game after game after game is only enjoyable for so long lol.
Ranked is horrible thanks to the stupid (and quick) resets. Bronze ranked is full of players with multiple masters badges, 10x3s, 4k20s, etc. The whole mode is a joke and really you should only treat it as the normal BR mode without gimmicks and quitters.
I appreciate the no gimmicks and quitters but ya, bronze is a hot mess of near constant hot drops and reckless pushing. I used to be able to get out of bronze pretty quickly but now it’s less than 25pts per match if I try to team play lol
