Yeah, I don’t have those kind of friends. Just used to seeing the behavior in other groups and media. Shit talking, I’m good with, but I wouldn’t want to have to be vigilant about such unnecessary pain.
Yeah I hope I expressed that right - and I figured that you of all (friendly) people would offer the benefit of the doubt if not:-) - in that as a hypothetical meta-concept where it happens out in the culture and hence we can
make fun oftalk about it here:-), but as a thing that people actually do it’s so toxic. Then again, much of it is probably hype in the first place?There are some at my job that exhibit this behavior. They can be decent people at times, but mongrels for perpetuating that nonsense. Maybe they’ll grow out of it.
And that’s the thing: it may have started out exaggerated (I dunno), but then being shown on TV and YouTube etc., grown to become more common as a result?
Too bad you can’t wear like taser underpants and shock them each time it happens:-).
