You might say it’s the ice, but even when you put bottled or canned soda in a cup with ice it’s not the same.
minus-squareAliendelarge@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up14arrow-down8·1 year agoIts not, canned is best, followed by bottled. Fountain is the bottom drink of last resort.
minus-squarePons_Aelius@kbin.sociallinkfedilinkarrow-up13·1 year agoFor me it goes: Glass bottle > Can > plastic bottle > post-mix (fountain)
minus-squareAliendelarge@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·1 year agoI do like a glass bottle soda. Can’t believe I forgot about those.

minus-squareDogeek@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoI’ll die on that hill, but can is better than glass bottle. There’s more fizz going on. Soda tastes also fresher
minus-squareSanguinePar@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoAgreed, this is my preference in terms of taste for sure. Value for money though… well that’s a different calculation.

minus-squareDharma Curious@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoFor me, glass bottle > plastic bottle > fountain > can. I don’t like canned sodas. They taste wrong, and I hate the way they feel against my mouth.
minus-squarePons_Aelius@kbin.sociallinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year ago I don’t like canned sodas. They taste wrong I can understand that. I have a friend who is the same with beer. They will not drink it as it tastes terrible to them.
minus-squarearin@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·1 year agoThat lovely plastic lining taste of canned, with the taste of aluminum as well. Honestly glass bottle hits different, but i don’t drink soda anymore
minus-squaresumofchemicals@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·1 year agoPlastic bottled is garbage. I like an aluminum can ok. Glass bottled is pretty good. But you’re mistaken about fountain.
