Police have arrested a man accused of injuring Nancy Mace, the Republican responsible for Capitol Hill's controversial trans bathroom ban.

    The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old James McIntyre, from Illinois. He has been charged with assaulting a government official.

    This reference to Mace as a “government official” makes me cringe; she’s the type of person who gets into government to destroy it.

      Isn’t this where the person shook the “government official’s hand” but later was arrested for assault?

      I’d love to see a video.

        I’m not sure about the specifics; it can be a challenge to keep up with all of this.

        (And after the first of the year it will probably get much worse.)
