It is Linus’ fault for letting his rabid dog fanbase mobilise against the kid, and then not stopping them. That fanbase is Linus’ personal mob on the internet, at the end of the day. I am not going to go split hairs and see these people as individuals with their own life, because they choose to be an apathetic group mob. Every cult leader is responsible for what their fanbase does.
