    It worked for Republicans because Democrats are ineffective at governing. That’s just a fact, and it remains a fact even when they have the majorities they need (or don’t need them). It’s just how centrists are. Republicans, for all their flaws, know what they want to do and will do anything to achieve it.

      Name one time since Bill Clinton they didn’t face 60 vote hurdle in the Senate placed there by the GOP.

        Obama’s first term? And in the first place why the fuck do they keep the filibuster when it keeps getting used against them? That alone is ineffective governing. Also they’re ineffective even in the executive branch so it’s obviously not about the filibuster.

          It’s so ridiculous that those lazy sons of bitches changed the laws so that they don’t even have to filibuster, they just have to announce that they plan to and it’s considered a filibuster.

          Idk I guess it’s crazy that all it takes is 1 or 2 senators to block everything. Really, we should get rid of the senate.
