I asked a guy at the bar if I could say hi to his dog and ended up chatting with him and his wife for a bit. He asked if I smoked weed and mentioned he worked for a single-use vape pen manufacturer, then pulled out a sealed pen he gave me. I laughed and told him this was the first time since DARE that a stranger had actually given me drugs.
I’m cool with the weed, but single-use vapes is where I draw the line.
Same for this guy! Well, about the latter. I don’t know his feelings on the former.
He ended up chatting with his dog and the dog’s wife ? Damn, that must have been good stuff
The best part is the people who peddled this program knew it was having the complete opposite result as intended and still chose to push it across the country.
Drugs
Are
Really
Excellent
Drugs
Are
Really
Expensive
Thanks Obama…?
Price of weed at least has dropped like a fucking rock over the last 20 years
“I remember when a dime bag cost a dime. Know what a condom cost?”
“Nuh uh.”
“Me neither. We never used the damn things.”
It was always the most popular tee at festivals. Nothing like a fucked up stranger stopping to tell you that they were also in the program when they were little. Lol
All DARE taught me is that I shouldn’t share my drugs. And good thing, that shit is expensive!
I won the D.A.R.E. essay contest at my school. I like drugs.
My parents were ahead of the over-protection curve on this one. Me and one other kid had to sit in the library when DARE was going on. They thought the class would make me want to do drugs.
Did shitloads of drugs anyway, but still, they were right in principle.
My super-conservative parents also pulled me from DARE. As punishment, the school made me do an in-depth semester report that required me to spend an hour a week in the library reading about great scientists.
It was awesome!
