Third-party retailers are supporting the devs. The keys they sell are bought from the game publisher. The profit margins are generally the same if you buy on Steam or on Fanatical/Humble/GreenManGaming/whatever.
The only difference might be if the devs have their own website they sell it through, similar to Rimworld.
Other than that, you’re not doing them any favours by buying on one store-front than another. Use whatever one works best for you.
Sadly this is if it seen that way. Most of the time like g2a the keys are from stolen credit cards, stolen bank details and stolen steam accounts. Thats the reason they are so cheap. Still you support LESS the devs by purchasing it like that. Even if in best case they struck the best deal or cheated the keys during summer sales. It would benefit the dev less than someone buying it ( especially if its already cheap )
Its a great game!
Would recommend to support the indie devs directly and not through third party shops.
14€ so not a 90€ "AAAAAAAAAAAAA"HHHHH game.
