I wont bother with all the statistics this time, but >we moved form 0.34 lines of code per one buyer, >to 0.24 lines of code per one buyer, so we are >getting more efficient I guess :)
copies sold per line of code is probably the most “factorio” way to think about sales figures
It sounds like factorio is over for now. That’s pretty sad. I was hoping they would continue developing it. But I can also understand that they want to stop after all these years. Also sad that the frequent FFFs will stop now.
Have you done a seablock run yet?
Well, maybe Factorio gets the Terraria treatment?
What’s the Terraria treatment?
That’s where you have one final content update and then another and then another and then …
I see! That would be great! But yeah, honestly, I have barely reached the first other planet in the DLC, so I think I have a lot of playtime left until then.
The game I’m thinking about is related to WoW in a similar way as to how Factorio is related to Minecraft.
OK, mate. You want to take one of the most addictive games of all times and make it 10x more addictive?
This gonna be gud!
All the care, love, attention given to the soundtracks is always been perplexing to me. The first thing I do when I get into a game is mute the soundtrack.
The right music can totally enhance the gameplay experience as it helps set the tone and expectations.
Do you prefer your own music choices, or do you not want music at all?
There will come a time when the music is turned down, so I can listen to other things in the background, but currently the music is captivating and amazing!
I turn it all the way down because I am talking to friends.
Same for me, mute it almost instantly (sometimed all sound). Usually listening to my own music, or podcast, or video on second monitor, or just sit in silence.
Having said that, I will probably buy the soundtrack and listen to it. But that doesn’t have to be while playing factorio.
Usually nothing at all, I realize I’m rather weird
Then I am, too. I either mute it, or turn it down so far it’s barely perceptable. I’ve had Factorio’s music off for so long I forgot there was a music track.
