Sholz Government has been exceptional at advancing energy independence and renewables, but US subjugation on all other matters is going to threaten what little success he has accomplished.

Let me first start with that I only originally watched 2 minutes before looking for sources and after not finding any, quiting the video so I never realized what the main talking point was, sorry. I’m glad I gave it an other watch, it’s not really a point you hear in Germany. We do have some people who are against sending weapons but they usually claim humanitarian reason. But I don’t think all the blame is to be put on the decision on the February 2022. For example Germany is still buying cheap Russian gas just through Belgium and the Nederlands. So I wouldn’t put the blame of the recession on that, I personally would put the blame more on Corona. Also rising cost isn’t what VW is forcing to close their doors, decades long lobbying with refusal to adapt to electric cars is what killed them and the German car industry as a whole. Who wants a trash quality electric cars that’s cost four times it’s competitors? Overall the once great German industry gotten stale and refuses to adept. There is a reason why nearly all our trains are made during 1970-1990. But everyone here supports Ukraine because we know that the invasion is unjustified and they have the right to defend themselves. And I don’t think it’s about destroying Russia but more so out of fear of russia invading more European countries. Also it’s a huge business opportunity, when they talk about sending 5 billions to Ukraine we send them our 30 year old stuff and can produce stuff for 5 billions in Germany, that’s why Linder and Merz want to send actual weapons as opposed to Scholz who only wants to send money which doesn’t stay in Germany. I think that is badly invested money because other sectors are more struggling then the weapons sector.

Linder was already very uncooperative before the war so I still doubt it was solely because of the loan agreement that he was fired.

Overall Scholz inherent a strained system by the corona Pandemic and didn’t really presented himself as the strong leader Germany needed at the time. Let’s just hope Germany manages to vote CDU in January or later, so we can outlaw the far right AfD before they completely destroy Germany.
