Election day is two weeks from today, so if you’re planning on voting, (and I hope you are!) here are some tools to help!

Make a Voting Plan

Everything You Need to Vote

https://www.vote.org/

If you’ve already voted (I dropped off my ballot today!) consider volunteering in your community to help other people get it done!

Locally, we have ranked choice ballots for the first time and… well… it’s a LOT. Like a LOT a lot.

You can even be a poll worker!

Sadly no, I’m in heavily gerrymandered Texas. I hope for the day when we swing purple.

Your efforts might be key to clinch the Senate and give Cruz the boot.

I think Texas might be closer than people realize. Though I know better than to get optimistic.

I remember Beto also having a real chance. Then reality hit me in the face like a ton of bricks.

Every election is an independent event. The results of that election have no bearing on this.

The senate race is rather close in Texas, there’s a real chance to oust cruz. If we’re really lucky maybe flip blue for president too this cycle or be close enough that republicans have to pay attention and play defence next cycle
