Turns out when something happens a lot, it’s more useful to try to view it systemically than to write each person individually off as an “idiot devoid of empathy”. “Brainwashing” is a myth, but pretending it’s real, who do you think “brainwashed” this guy? Surely not Republicans, they’ve got their own attitudes and talking points that are unhinged but distinct from this.

Its only useful or should i say effective for cases where there isnt much variability.

But If you genuinely look deeply into why theres so much division/apathy toward one another youll will realize that it is because of that very line of thinking that you advocate. You will ignore the voices of reason and only give your attention to the loud extremist minority and you will treat that as the voice of the majority.

Its a bit wild if you dont believe brainwashing doesnt exist, i would like to know why you believe that.

As for this poor bastard, if we assume its, hes brainwashed because hes convinced himself that every opposing person thinks exactly the way he believes so he treats them accordingly. If brainwashing isnt to be conditioned to act/believe a certain way as calculated then idk what brainwashing is
