    Why people must choose at all cost? Dual booting is way too easy to set. Also, use Linux for what it works best, resurrecting old hardware. I keep windows 10 on my desk and Linux (fedora) on my super old laptops and it just works great.

          Not free? People tend to have personal cell phones already and $80 is on the cheap end (no extra cost). Linux supporting obsolete hardware isn’t exactly a plus. It’s more a side effect of desktop Linux being a decade or two behind proprietary.
