I think a social media ban or regulation is about the only thing that would help
one wonders what is worse, the fact that some people deliberately sow the seeds of such obvious misinformation for petty short-term gains or the fact that some people keep a mind fertile enough to allow it to flourish.
I would argue the original evil is worse because it is intentional
