Nolan is good at making visually engaging action movies, can’t deny him that. But yeah the more you actually analyze his stories the more apparent it becomes he’s a huge ass neocon.
Yeah, there’s a pretty deep well of great man of history threads in his stuff, and violating the rights of others for their own good.
Inception has people hacking into other people’s minds and manipulating them for financial gain. Interstellar has NASA being the all knowing elites with the foresight to save human existence, but letting everyone else die, all while keeping knowledge of the plan out of reach of the masses.
Haven’t really seen his other stuff though, I would still like to for the cinematography and action. It’s such a shame that the cool and fun stuff that he does is packaged with such insidious bullshit.

Well that’s kind of unavoidable if you’re making a Batman movie. In a sense Nolan is the perfect guy to make a Batman movie.
