        When someone links a community like this, how can I… Join it?

        If I click the link, it leaves the Lemmy app to go to my browser, and I can’t really do much about that because my account isn’t on ani.social.

        This time I just went and searched for nokotan in communities and joined that, but… Surely that’s not the way?

              Haven’t used Boost for Lemmy (but have used Boost for Reddit), but this feature is a bit rare, I think? If this is a issue you think is worth addressing you could give Thunder or Photon (PWA) a try.
