          Kills what? Firefox? There are at least 3 ongoing forks of FF right now. They cannot unopen source the code they already delivered.

      Yeah, I really wish they wouldn’t, but there are honestly not a lot of options unless they re-engineer the wheel.

        When the only wheels available are variations of the same ha-ha-fuck-you, maybe a new wheel is the best option. 🤷🏼‍♂️

          I mean, it is somewhere between extremely difficult and nigh-impossible to build a standards-compliant web browser. And when Chromium is right fucking there, I can see how it’s tempting to take it, reskin it, add your own little seasoning, and send it out as your own
