I can’t help but notice Israel isn’t doing anything about the illegal settlements, the settlers, or the settlers that keep murdering Palestinians while the IDF watches and on occasion helps.

Should Lebanon be cleared to kill civilians with explosives in illegal settlements?

Are the illegal settlements on land belonging to Lebanese citizens? What do they have to do with the settlements? Or are you saying that the terrorists living in Gaza are actually from Lebanon?

That’s in watches position, the claim is laid by Egypt and the UN is unquestionably held hostage but the UK and the US so your not going to get their agreement. You do however gain an understanding of pattern or practice of illegal occupation of Sovereign land.

If you actually cared about extremism you’d know there’s a Israeli group in Lebanon who advocate and take actions for the expansion of illegal settlements in Lebanon, they are very very not quiet about it.

It’s not called an occupation because they’re all getting jobs.

So what’s your point then? I’m only commenting on the hypocrisy of people calling out Israel for targeted attacks on their enemies, the same enemies who have made it clear that they want to kill any Isrealis.

You’re implying it’s ok for them to act worse.

It’s not a country they are at war with nor a country that is at war with literally anyone. Israel carried out a heinous attack on their civilian population without warning and with booby trapped civilian items in contravention on international law.

Israel can’t claim the high ground while violating sovereignity committing terrorist acts. Why are you so sure Israel acting like terrorists is somehow excusable.

Were these targeted attacks against hezbollah militants (who are sworn enemies of Israel and are responsible for terrorist attacks inside Israel) or were they against random civilians living in Lebanon? How do you define terrorism?

You’re so dumb you don’t even see the big picture.

Let’s ignore the fact that such an attack, using booby trapped civilian items, by Hamas or Hezbollah would make all the western media go absolutely insane. No, really, let’s ignore it for now.

What Israel did was opening a Pandora box. They made it acceptable to use these methods to kill your enemy in this conflict. And Hamas, who is in a weaker military position, will love this type of unconventional war. They will learn from this and this is going to bite Israelis right in the ass. And lots of people won’t care because they did it first.

Israel is not acting like the civilized one. If Hezbollah are terrorists Israel just proved they are no better.

What pisses me the most is how pro-Israel people don’t see how they keep digging themselves deeper in their own grave. They have guaranteed that Israel will not survive on the long term. When the other shoe drops and the US are unable/unwilling to protect them, they are going to be eaten alive in a region where all they did was seed hate.

What does that have to do with anything? Lebanon also doesn’t belong to Israel. He’s making the argument that you can’t bomb a SOVEREIGN country just because you want to take out someone you don’t like. If someone from Hezbollah went to Turkey would Israel bomb them there? I’d like to see them try. But it would never happen because Israel is a bully and only picks on the weak.

Lebanon is fully involved in this conflict. Hezbollah is entrenched there and arguably the Hezbollah military is stronger than the official Lebanese armed forces. Lebanon can’t or won’t evict the sworn enemies of Israel, and I don’t blame Israel for taking matters into their own hands. And yes they probably would feel the need to coordinate with Turkey or get their permission before trying something similar.

Yes, like I said, they go full steam ahead on their weak neighbor but would respectfully ask for permission from the strong one. We all know what a coward is. What’s your point?

What do you think of dropping in unexpectedly to kill innocent, unarmed civilians, and then running and hiding amongst other civilians hoping that you won’t get attacked in return? Is that cowardly?
