I get a bunch of gibberish when using ai chat generator. Whether importing, or starting a new incognito tab and copy/pasting text, it goes haywire. Anyone know what’s going on?

Thanks for reporting this! A couple of the GPUs in the text generation cluster were fried. Normally they’d throw an error and I’d detect it and remove them, but with this particular error they just output gibberish without any explicit error. I’ve added code to detect this now, so the issue should be resolved. Please let me know if it occurs for you again.

Edit: Hmm. Still getting reports of this in the feedback. If anyone can provide example outputs of the gibberish that you’re seeing, that would be great.

I’m having this issue as of 15 minutes ago or so, these are some of the things I got:

      **x, or, the QERO.

      **a

      ERGT.

      BIN

CABL/ER, US, ER, and the AER
      **d.T.G.O.
      **d.O
      t.
      **f.I.E,
      **, of, *M.
      **
      **n.D.H.C
      **, BIN, **d.I.O, or, **n.O.`

      ER,

After testing, I’ve concluded it’s happening in one specific chat with a character. A new chat with the character has them writing fine. Attempting to export and then import that specific chat, whether it’s json or txt and import command, doesn’t fix it. It also does something weird where it immediately tries to generate a response when I click on that chat, even if I had cancelled it previously.

Edit: It seems to be working fine again for now.
