I mean when rats eat all your food and most of you die, then this MF shows up and solves death by hunger, I’m ok with praying to that.

I get it, honestly… I’ll be going through something and my cat comes out of nowhere with his calm, peaceful presence, all soft, lanky and graceful. He’ll carefully step across my body and lay directly over my heart, purring with increasingly loud and deep rythymic vibrations, locking his strange snake-like eyes with mine in a very wise and knowing way for what could be described as an uncomfortable amount of time if it weren’t so oddly tranquil. As intense and personal as this process can be, it always brings me back to earth and makes me feel safe and protected in that moment.
That’s a divine fucking animal right there, and every cat I’ve ever owned throughout my life has been this way once it loved me.
