You are the embodiment of the Dunning–Kruger effect, you don’t know what was in the bill, ignorantly thinking is was 3 separate bills, and yet you try to come off as an expert.

I’m always amazed at your confidence, if I was wrong as much as you I’d have no confidence.

You’ve already revealed yourself as someone who keeps ratcheting up the requirements for evidence that will convince you every time you get something that proves you wrong, which is arguing in bad faith.

Unfortunately for you, that’s the only card you have.

So I’m just gonna let you tire yourself out here because you’re clearly not interested in actually discussing this matter. You’re just trying to “win” the argument like some sort of incel.

              Have fun. :)

That’s how debates work, unfortunately you seem unable to provide any support evidence for your claims, you then get angry/frustrated when you original claim is questioned.

The only evidence you have provided supporting your claim is an FDR quote. You haven’t/can’t provide anything else. It’s clear you’re outside your depth, you didn’t know the fair labor standards act set rates for multiple years (I may have set you up for that one…). Your commentary on the political climate as the reason minimum wage was not set as a living wage requires more than your claim. Here is the question you have to answer were there $0.40 bills that failed (there were), and did they fail because of the $0.40 rate (they did not).

So I’m just gonna let you tire yourself out here because you’re clearly not interested in actually discussing this matter. You’re just trying to “win” the argument like some sort of incel.

For someone who complains about others projecting, you seem to be doing a lot of it.

First, you must understand you are wrong. Most liberals don’t grasp or have self-awareness. They believe that if they repeat a lie enough, it becomes the truth.

I believe there was only a short period in the 1960s or 1970s when the minimum wage was actually livable.

People also tend to overlook the standard of living in the 1970s compared to today. We didn’t have cell phones, we had one car, and we wore hand-me-downs. Having your own bedroom was rare. Homes were much smaller than they are now, and almost all meals were consumed at home. We had a MUCH more simple life back then.

Bubba keeps saying I won’t concede when I’m wrong… The evidence is overwhelming I’ll have to concede your point.

The most eye opening thing for me was driving through the appalician mountains in the 90s, every run down trailer had a satellite on it. Consumerism has changed every want into a need.

Exactly. The government even encourages it as well with free internet and phones. Everything is a need now.
