If mondays weren’t shitty enough, hearing this just sucks. Rest in peace Paul. Next time I get the basement tour of the Alamo I will think of you.

Poor guy. He got totally fucked over because of bullshit prudes jumping on his private life when he hadn’t done anything wrong. RIP Pee Wee

This is so sad. The showing of support that he got when he came out at the MTV awards was huge; it’s absolutely heartwarming. A beloved artist.

I always liked his character–and felt bad for him when he got busted.

None of my female friends liked the character tho. Was Pee-wee a “guy thing”?

Not at all. My best friend adores him. She loves camp in general, so that may be the requisite. She loved the show, loved his movies. I took her to see him live and she loved that too. I need to give her a call and make sure she’s ok today. RIP

Some people just don’t like absurdism. I was surprised years ago when I learned my dad thought Monty Python was nonsense, since we share a sense of humor. I thought he’d get it like I did.

What the hell os a ‘private bout of cancer’? As opposed to what? Publicly traded bout of cancer?
