We need universal healthcare yesterday, people do the same thing at Starbucks to get IVF coverage because so few places offer that.

My workplace offers it alongside surrogacy and adoption support, and of course I feel compelled to stay long enough to utilize one of the three if it’s necessary despite dogshit treatment. I don’t know why this isn’t at the top of the average American’s list of priorities.

The issues with (lack of) access to fertility treatment and access to abortion both stem from the same misogynistic ideologies.

Both are anti-woman, and aim to undermine their right to reproductive autonomy, plain and simple. (And the Catholic “only men can be clergy” Church is staunchly against both, surprise surprise)

“Benefits” in the US are best described as golden handcuffs. Generations have been trapped in undervalued work so they can visit a doctor and collect a pension

I wonder when the mask is gonna fully drop and the corporations are gonna exploit the Imperial Core like the Global South is.

I’m surprised that Bezos hasn’t caught wind of this and tried to buy a fertility clinic and launch Amazon Prime Insemination

I think there was a post around here a few weeks ago, saying Amazon had bought a medical company / facility.

I wouldn’t be surprised if your joke was close to the truth.
