Well, he was a good Harry Osborn I suppose… I should have knew him just for that… From the movies only you never could have guessed it. Why does it turn out like this for actors/singers/directors and famous people in general from whom you least expect it? Not same as this, but related:
1.Morgan Freeman(a victim of slavery btw) is a living USA propaganda machine and warmonger who wants war with Russia since 2017, it’s not like Schwarzenegger who says ‘‘peace in Ukraine’’ ‘‘no war’’ yada yada, no, he is full on demanding a war with Russia from 2017!!!
2.Steven Spielberg is terribly horrible in politics, so much that some of his movies are banned in Middle East, reading his ‘‘politics’’ section in biography was awful, he was friends and shaking hands with war criminals, remember, this is STEVEN FUCKING SPIELBERG we are talking about!!(Jurassic Park, Jaws, E.T., Indiana Jones, Schindler, Close Encounters etc) I still of course think that his movies are the movies of all time and that cannot be changed for me, but about politics, I was disgusted at least
3.Christian Bale, the one true Batman and the man himself Patrick Bateman, he is not even a close as the others, but apparently he was denied access in some part of China while he filmed a movie set in Chinese-Japanese war before WW2 and that’s it. Still, he has a Serbian wife and remains based for me
4.Chris Hemsworth, I have no idea about irl, but he starred in some classic shitty ass Middle East war movies
5.Gerard Butler, Scottish actor(Leonidas) starred in ‘‘has fallen’’ movies(ultra American and western propaganda)
6.Liam Neeson, voted in favour of staying in EU during Brexit

How can a historical ‘‘based on true story’’ movie which takes place BC be fascist? Is Sparta bad or? It was one of my favorite historical movies along with Gladiator, I watched it last time in summer 2019, so I need to refresh my memory a little bit, can you explain me? And yeah, Butler sucks ass in ‘‘has fallen’’ movies and every other ultra western propaganda movie.
I thought 300 was cool as hell when I watched it, too. There’s just a lot of apocryphal subtext within the movie that lends itself very well to fascist imagery and ideology, like the portrayal of Spartans tossing inbred and deformed infants to the rocks and it being treated as more like an interesting and metal quirk than something horrific. A lot of it is pretty ahistorical, too.

edit: I’m not sure you’d agree with all of his points and that’s perfectly ok. There’s probably a coherent argument to be made regarding the movie in favor of it, it’s just that the majority of the people making those arguments online are loud obnoxious manbabies.
