The utter vitriol that has been directed at her since she came out (and a little before as she at that stage tended towards effeminate) has been incredible to see. Trans people must be some of the strongest folk around.

They are. This is why the deranged idea that being Trans is somehow a “lifestyle choice” doesn’t make any sense. It’s literally life on hard mode.
