        I think the first time it was some clever little thing, but has been misunderstood and overused to the point that it’s lost all meaning, even to the degree that I can’t recall the original.

          I oppose it because it is encapsulates poor grammar: “nobody says nothing”. The proper label would be “everybody else”, not nobody. And yeah, most of the time it’s completely superfluous.

            It’s playing off the phrase “nobody asked for this”, hence why “nobody” has no dialogue asking for this.
