FFS, people buy pre-chopped vegetables now days. Also, I’m pretty sure those would root and grow in a glass of water anyway. Been growing my own for years, I’ll give it a try.

Nah. Someone, at some point, decided it would look nicer to the consumer like that. FFS, people buy pre-chopped vegetables now days.
