Its a special fun day for planes at that airport, that’s the water slide ride, they also do face painting for the planes and a meet and greet with Sullys plane.

Its a kind of salute.

It’s sort of a salute for a captain who’s having their last flight and retiring.

During special moments, first flight, captain retiring etc, they’ll do what’s called a water cannon salute. Fire trucks will park opposing each other and create a water bridge for the plane to taxi through.
