    I like what I’m seeing from Yusei! I know Schneider’s said in the past that he doesn’t want personal catchers, but I think I like Jano with Berríos, Kikuchi, and Alek Manoah (the less experienced catchers who probably need more direction/ reassurance from their catcher) and Kirk with the vets, Gausman and Bassitt. Depending on pitcher experience, I think Jano’s superior game calling or Kirk’s superior framing might be more effective. Just a thought

    Edit: My categorization above might be more based on feel than facts, in terms of years of MLB experience. They are (including 2023): Bassitt 9 years, Berríos 8 years, Gausman 11 years, Kikuchi 5 years (although he played pro in Japan), Manoah 3 years

        5.0 IP, 88 pitches. Will he start the 6th? I think they will let him, actually. He’s been really strong of late and I think he’s due a opportunity like this. Facing 4, 5, 6 for a 3rd time though
