Is Modi a despotic asshole? Yes.

Has Modi murdered some of his own citizens? Yes.

Has Modi authorized the assassinations of Sikh emigrants in foreign nations? Yes

Why then should anyone believe his government?

Well if the US would want to be taken serious on calling out human rights violations of other countries, they should stop aiding a genocide and brutalizing their protesting students.

What we see now is exactly what everyone has warned off, that was able to look a bit ahead. The US, Israel, UK, Germany and others who are still clamping down on genocide against the Palestinians are loosing all face and all credibility in the world. We now see some fascists in a small country able to do irreparable damage to a rule based international order, thanks to the willful complicity of nations like the US.

Right wing fundamentalist cuckoo zealots run India now.

Modi, the RSS/BJP and their supporters gave cover to the barbarism that took place in Manipur, the gang rapes, arson, murder, essentially endorsing it. They cut off the internet so nothing could get out while it unfolded.

India has gone the way of backwards ass religious authoritarianism. Even assassinating a sikh activist on Canadian soil.

You seem to think that the US gives a shit about human rights. Pushing its own geopolitical agenda is the ONLY thing the US cares about. And no, I don’t like Modi one bit, I’m just not blind to rank hypocrisy.
