Boy do I love my Sunday crowd.

It’s the arrogant, stone faced old ladies talking about the new messiah and how his election was stolen from him. Almost makes me want to cry.

It’s the same old idiot drunks week after week going, “what do you mean you can’t sell alcohol on Sunday? Are you fucking stupid!? And you-gin git it right uppah road here.” That’s the next county over. And stop voting for the arrogant, stone faced old church ladies just because they have REPUBLICAN on their stupid yard signs.

It’s the grifters, I’m sorry, preachers from one of the 500 churches pulling up in their fully restored classic cars asking me to come see them next Sunday, as though they didn’t see me here last week on Sunday. You know? Working on Sunday like I do every week.

Saturday is where it’s at though. No church crowd (except the tiny little “sabbath is actually Saturday” group, and they’re weird and fun any way), no work crowd. It’s slow and I sit and play video games all day. I even have time for a little VR. Why can’t every day be Saturday?

    I fuckin’ love Saturday.

/r/atheism being a default sub was one of the things that led me to join Reddit in the first place.

I grew up in the Bible Belt. I knew one other atheist. It was a breath of fresh air.

I remember when the creationist or intelligent design stuff going around. Listening to the debates and all that.

After seeing all the religious nonsense with that, I knew that antivax was going to go through the ringer when COVID was coming around.

Nothing like having people like this vote.
