Fun fact, I recently promoted Lemmy on r/place (it’s the only reason I go on reddit now. Not for place, but to promote Lemmy) and all my comments were removed a few hours after.

Not actively. I’ll put link to Lemmy in my profile / bio on other platforms, but I think Lemmy is at a sweet spot right now where there is a fair amount of activity to keep people engaged while some quirks are being worked on before reaching an even bigger audience.
Hopefully it will grow organically.
