    Stories can modify humans habits and bodily function as well. If you read a bunch of stories that pollute your mind, what do you think will happen to your body? If someone promotes bad behaviors in stories and you are connected to those characters emotionally, then people do emulate those bad behaviors as well.

      I read plenty books about magics, cyperpunk, fantasy, there is lot battle. I also played lot violent video game and became the most dangerous man in the world.

      I never killed anyone. Nor tried jumping from a window with a broom. Japanese read mangas daily, play lot video games…

      However, we can talk about the bible.

        I’m not talking about those… also, you have to evaluate other social factors per country besides just content they consume. The child abuse rate in Japan though has went up significantly.
