British Columbia’s Ministry of Transportation says an investigation is underway after another commercial vehicle struck an overpass in Metro Vancouver.
The province says a vehicle struck an overpass near the entrance of the George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99 around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
What? Are truck drivers looking for a hat trick? Are they trying to set an unbeatable world record?
Somehow, drivers started forgetting to check things. In this day of computing magic it seems hard for them to say “is none of my route under 13 feet tall?” And signs and maps don’t work, I guess.
Edit: eyeballs too, for to strike that bridge you have to drive past this sign and not see it: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jmUPgCoZPXnTrevS6
