Here is a positive spin, maybe unpopular opinion, and maybe devil’s advocate: It goes to show that the world is overall better than him.

He is utilizing that people take the high road on his shenanigans. While that is a bad karma move for him alone to do this continuously, it shows that the majority of people actually interacting with him take the high road. They are able to see through his shit and determine that they’re better off themselves by leaving him to his own even if it comes at a cost. He’s basically the worlds richest poor man. You didn’t want to involve yourself with a homeless drug addict anymore than you want to be involved with Trump. Keep it at a sticks length. People will rather not chase a sunken cost. It’s easier and better to let go.

Trump is close to his death by age. I can wait it out, and I am thankful for him showing his strategy so blatantly that nobody else will ever be able to do the same again. Trump is a prime example, but not an example to follow. I don’t appreciate him living and I will gladly read his obituary, but I also do think that wanting him dead is … wrong.

Not because it makes much difference to him, but because it makes a difference to me. I’ll rather accept the existence of bad people than to be one myself.

The problem is if you don’t see karma as individual and cosmic then it’s just the fact that the more you piss in the pool the more urine you’re in. By behaving poorly he encourages others to do so and makes the world worse not just for himself and his followers but for everyone.

I respect your position and you’re who I’d rather have around but I also can acknowledge the damage of an evil jackass teaching others to hurt people for personal gain and to avoid acknowledging their own deficiencies.

Agreed about personal karma, though I got it more from a Buddhist standpoint if I understood it. Basically cause and effect, you keep doing things that make trouble or harm by not being mindful of the actions you take them it causes you more suffering, one way or another. Trump wallows in his self constructed world view and is most likely a miserable person, if he thought of others (hah for someone as narcassicitic as himself) he’d probably have a much more fulfilling life. Too bad he’s pretty much a broken person in that regard.
