I’m disputing the confidence with which you people assert your secondhand truths and persecute unbelievers. You are behaving like cattle, herded by a glowing screen.

Right… so your issue isn’t with the facts as they are stated. You too are not disputing those facts, am i right?

The vast majority of scientists who are experts in the field, all across the globe, all looking at the data, providing their evidence to each other to either challenge or support, all agreeing on what’s happening.

It’s not being a sheep to look at this and realize that what that group is saying is probably right and that you, as a layman, should probably accept what they are saying. That’s actually the opposite of being a sheep, it’s being objective and reasonable.

Yes, in the ideal world, the sheepherders are wise friends and behaving as a sheep (let’s not quibble) is the winning strategy.

        But I dislike sheep.

Unless you’re out doing the actual research yourself, like gathering the data, designing the studies, and then analyzing the results, you’re just a sheep too in the same exact way. You’re just making an irrational decision about which sheepherder to follow.

            That’s definitely an option

Another option is a little of all three, marrying none.

We aren’t talking about marrying anyone, but rationally and objectively determining what is the most likely outcome.

By not trying to figure out what’s right, sure you’re not a sheep, you’re just a non thinking rock. Why anyone would think that’s better, I don’t know.

If you’re just picking and choosing whatever you want to be true, that’s also as equally thoughtless. If you aren’t doing that, then you’re still just following the sheepherder if you aren’t doing the research yourself.

Just a quick fyi, you are functionally a solipsist. Please tell people that in the beginning, so they know not to waste their time
