Should throw in “crafting” and “zombies” for even more impact
Dungeons and dragons survival life sim battle royale live game extraction roguelike crafting game!
You forgot deckbuilder!
Add farming and base building and I’m in.
Now we are talking! How about adding AAAA and open world too?
U,D,U,D,L,R,L,R,B,A,B,A games when?
Tack one more “A” on there and baby, you’ve got a stew going!
At this point, I think “crafting” can just be assumed. They should really start labeling it when a game doesn’t have crafting. Especially a survival game.
What is a life sim in this context?.
This one question got my mind racing about a Dave the Diver-like game where you run a tavern and have to go hunt creatures to cook and serve to all manner of adventurers, townsfolk, and other fantasy characters.
Maybe you play as a dwarf or halfling that has to use their wits and skills to take down bigger and scarier monsters as the game progresses.
And instead of wasabi, maybe you’re actually pouring drinks for people, on top of serving them food.
Moonlighter is kinda like you’re describing but you’re running a shop by selling loot you grab from the dungeons at night.
Maybe like “the Sims” kind of mechanics or maybe a “medieval dynasty” type.
