    Hell yeah. The headphones also served as the antenna so you would wiggle the cable a bit to get better audio.

    Still plenty available, look up “FM auto scan radio” on eBay

    Had one, enjoyed it for a short while but the audio quality out of the earphones is poor, and there’s nothing but classic rock, lite hits, top 100 and NPR over here so also got bored pretty quick.

    This is how I discovered radio as a kid. These things are awesome. Before phones, I pods, and smaller than a Walkman. Completely underrated

    Honestly i never had that thing, i had walkman (fake chinese one)
    From what i experienced (borrowed from my friend because it’s so… hyped back then) that thing had terrible signal receiver + the headset is so… fuckin bad that i couldn’t describe with a proper word
    Honestly i don’t know why many child back then buy this instead of chinese walkman

    Yeah. I got frustrated pretty quickly at them. I used it maybe 20 times before I gave up with the hassle it was to find the station I wanted again.

    I had one of these things, USB 2.0 20gb laptop HDD, rechargeable batteries, external HDD/mp3 player/ audio recorder. Pretty fucking cool for 2002.
